Last VA with the best group! and good times to come

Aw today should be a sad day ... because I no longer have my awesome VA group that builds me up and makes me smile...

Patients weren't that great today even all class 5's.... like I need anymore of those but it was good conversation. I always hear the best stories and the nicest things from my patients that it makes me feel really accomplished when I'm there. After patients we all went out to lunch! which was funny because e all decided on a place to eat and then totally split up and got what we wanted from different places. Ha Ha Ashley and I had a great time downing popcorn and water at Wingers while we were waiting for our food to go. :) It was a good day .... lol until my husband got off work late and I ended up having to wait at the VA until 5:30pm lol and being engulfed by strange elderly men who insisted on talking to me until my husband got there lol. Oh my it was interesting. ...

Oh well Thanksgiving break is upon us ! and as a great surprise I have received my LOUPES! Talk about early Christmas but I am way stroked! I've been wearing them all over the house anticipating thursday wear I can use them on my final patients of the semester! WOOT WOOT! Well I better get to enjoying my self I have alot of Thanksgivings to attend and I need to prepare to be stuffed ! Hope every one has a fabulous holiday! Thanksgiving break and the end of semester finale

Well Clinic the other day wasn't my greatest because on my class 5 there was a huge pocket that I just happened to not catch and missed the piece of calculus all the way down in the furcation. GRR! will I ever not miss one spot... at least it wasn't like last week where I had a class 3 with the most tenacious calculus I've ever seen! and I missed the whole quad..... and that was due to my lack of time and my pride telling me to do the whole mouth before even getting checked... ugh ... when will I learn. The lesson to be learned from this is definitely feel before check and be sure to get that extra turn while scaling the distal line angle or mesal line angle. And besure to not drop you 15/16 gracey before you scale a three lol.

 So I'm happy to report the quiz is done today and I am enjoying relaxing for my Friday afternoon. Yes, I will start studying immediately tomorrow for dental materials so I might happen to take the test sooner than anticipated. But for now I'm at work and I get to make blankets tonight for my new little cousin and I'm happy to have a break :)

I'm honestly so in shock of how fast the semester has flown by and I'm excited to go to the VA right before Thanksgiving! I really enjoying helping the people there, they work so hard to serve our country and I'm just honored to be a part of that organization. I'm really Thankful to be in this program aswell, I believe it has really changed my life for the better and I hope I can walk away a strong force in research and clinical care for patients.  That is all for now ... until next time :)

Almost there and it feels great!

I can't believe it I graduate in just a few short months for the Weber State Dental Hygiene Program... all I can say is WOW! I think it's finally coming to life my dreams and goals, after I got married I think I was a little in shock because I knew that was once step closer to the rest of my life and now here it is I will finally be able to travel and see new places and do the humanitarian work I've always wanted to do. It's a little surprising that everything is falling into place because I know there were a lot of times I felt not good enough or smart enough to accomplish some of the things I've done in my life. I'm just so blessed and happy to be living my life and enjoying all the new things that much bachelors is going to open up for me. I can't say I wasn't sad after senior pictures the other day because I realized I'm going to miss all these girls so much! and I've made some really great friendships and I'm sad that it's almost over. Well that was just a short thought of mine that I wanted to share and a special shout out to the Weber State 2011-2012 DH girls. I know that this will be the best and final semester! Woot! :)
